I’m here today to clue you in on how to decide to expand your products/services in 3 easy steps. Please note that I didn’t say that I’ll show you how to expand your products/services in 3 easy steps, but how to decide to expand your products/services in 3 easy steps.

As creatives, we have notes everywhere with all of our Big Ideas, and then we buy urls and make plans and we talk to people about things and then all of a sudden we’re working on 10 different projects and the main thing we really need to do for ourselves isn’t happening and, well, you can sense the hampster wheel here, right?

Please let me know in the comments what this helped you decide. Are you amping things up or cooling things down? And just remember: it doesn’t have to be a forever “no” right now – it can simply be a “not yet”!

Love this ^^ It speaks to my madness so much I *have to* bookmark it for future Rousing Review sessions!

  2. What great timing this was for me! I have recetly stepped back from one of my offereings (coaching ) at least in the form I thought it was “supposed” to be.. I am taking tme away to redefine it and get honest with myself.. plus it was too much trying to market that and work on my eBook, I also have some courses already done and launched and content for at least one other very close to done other than repackaging… But I know right now the eBook is where my focus needs to be.. good food for thought here!
    Thanks

OOoh, this was great! I get caught up in the “But my business/traffic/list/twitterfollowing/etc is tooooo smallll to expand” mindset, whenever I think that a group art class would be the best way to help more of people at once.

Ohmygosh, I know that Vampire Voice and have to call bullshit with it. Of course, you’ll make more sales with a larger “platform”, but that does NOT need to stop you from putting your goodness put into the world! Conversely, you can see your products as a way to build your platform. Win-win!

Great post! And rather timely too! I’ve been considering adding a product (my first), but I was feeling that I-Want-To-Do-More-Than-One-At-A-Time pressure. I’m glad, I watched this video as it has knocked the sense back into me. More than one at a time? Was I crazy?!

All kidding aside, this has been a very helpful post and I’m bookmarking it to come back to!

Thanks Michelle for the 3 easy steps. Your videos are golden and I really appreciate your wisdom as someone fairly new. ;)

I’ve been gathering great content for 18 months and I held off because my website was only about me as an Author. I’ve transitioned into a Speaker and Creative Anthropologist, so I’m excited to put all my hard work into a Spring program this year “Adventures of Being a Woman”
